You can re-take your questionnaire at any time and your Register will update in accordance with the answers provided. We would encourage all users to periodically review their answers to ensure that they remain current.

The system has been designed so that the answers to the questionnaire identify applicable legislation in the majority of cases. However, there may be instances where individual circumstances mean that legislation is in fact not applicable or is applicable. You get the final say on what goes into your Register and therefore you have the ability to remove or add any legislation that you believe applies to you.

The questionnaire has been designed with ease of use for the user in mind. We have tried wherever possible to remove technical terms and jargon. Where necessary we have also provided ‘tool tips’ to give further information and/or examples to help you get to the correct answer. If you are still unsure of the answer, then you can select ‘Maybe’ which will apply the applicable legislation to your Register. The ‘Maybe’ legislation will be highlighted in your Register but you will not be able to ‘publish’ (finalise it) until you have determined if the highlighted legislation applies or not.

You have two options. Option 1 is to answer the questionnaire taking into account the circumstances of all sites, which will produce a Register containing legislation applicable to all countries but also runs the risk of including legislation that may not affect a site in one country based on the answers provided for a site in a different country. Option 2 is to opt for our ‘multi-site’ package which allows you to produce a Legal Register for each individual site. See ‘Our Packages’ page for more information.

The compliance guides are just that, a guide. It is not possible for us to write definitive guides for every individual circumstance and therefore you may need to take further actions outside of those mentioned in the compliance guides to ensure you are compliant.

We Comply is hosted in a UK based ISO27001 certified data centre with servers protected by managed threat detection and response, anti-virus, firewalls and an anti-DDoS solution. Data is encrypted in transit with SSL and securely backed up to an off-site location with archive encryption.

Your data will be held for a period of no more than 3 months, after which point, all data will be permanently deleted from the site and servers.

If you would rather use a different payment option then you have the option to sign up by supplying a Purchase Order. However, access to the site will not be granted until payment has been received.

The system reminds the user of an impending subscription expiry (a month or less until expiry) with system notifications, emails and a prompt to renew in the header when logged in.

After logging in go to the "My Account Settings" page, enter your new password and then click on the "Update my Settings" button.
