The Electricity Capacity (Amendment) Regulations 2025
These Regulations amend the Electricity Capacity Regulations 2014 (the CM Regulations) in order to make technical amendments and minor changes to the Capacity Market (CM) aimed at better enabling existing provisions to be used in practice, reducing administrative burdens, and improving administrative arrangements for the CM to improve security of supply and, by accelerating investment in low carbon technologies, increase the role that they play in the CM, aligning it better with the government’s net zero objectives. The Waste (Fees and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025
These Regulations increase fees and charges in relation to the processing of applications for the registration of brokers, dealers and carriers of waste which are imposed directly via the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 and the Waste Management Licensing Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003. The Conservation of Salmon (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024
These Regulations amend the Conservation of Salmon (Annual Close Time and Catch and Release) (Scotland) Regulations 2014 (the 2014 Regulations).The 2014 regulations prescribe the annual close time for each salmon fishery district in Scotland (with the exception of the Tweed District); prescribe the dates when it is permitted to fish for, or take, salmon by rod and line within the annual close time and prohibit the retention of salmon during prescribed periods.
