The Historic Environment (Miscellaneous Amendments) (Wales) Regulations 2024
These Regulations amend the Historic Environment (Wales) Act 2023 (Consequential Provision) (Secondary Legislation) Regulations 2024. Those Regulations made amendments to secondary legislation which are consequential on the Historic Environment (Wales) Act 2023. These Regulations make minor amendments to secondary legislation which correct errors, or clarify provision made, in those Regulations. These Regulations also make minor amendments to the Scheduled Monuments (Partnership Agreements) (Wales) Regulations 2024 and the Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas (Procedure and Interest Rate) (Wales) Regulations 2024. The Building (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2024
These Regulations amend the Building Regulations 2010 (the 2010 Regulations) as they apply in relation to Wales. The 2010 Regulations include requirements for automatic fire suppression systems to be installed in care homes for adults. Prior to the enactment of these Regulations the requirements for automatic fire suppression systems to be installed in care homes for children in Wales were provided in the Domestic Fire Safety (Wales) Measure 2011 (the 2011 Measure). The Masterplan Consent Area Scheme (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024
These Regulations ensure the planning authority granting development consent for a particular project within a Masterplan Consent Area scheme makes its decision in full knowledge of any likely significant effects on the environment. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) helps to ensure the importance of the predicted effects, and the scope for avoiding or reducing any adverse effects, are properly understood before a decision is made. The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2024
These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications) (Scotland) Regulations 2022. The Regulations implement an increase to planning fees to take account of the effects of inflation in 2022 and 2023, extend the range of services which an authority can introduce a fee or charge for to include entering into a processing agreement and to recover their costs in relation to the establishment and delivery of a Masterplan Consent Area, increase the fee for the Prior Notification/Approval process and adjust the fee for shellfish farming. The Town and Country Planning (Amendment of National Planning Framework) (Scotland) Regulations 2024
These Regulations set out further detailed provisions around procedures for amending the National Planning Framework, following on from the commencement in full of various provisions in the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 (the 2019 Act), which amended the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (the Act) relating to amendment of the National Planning Framework.
